Our Will Service

At the first appointment we advise you, discuss your requirements and take your instructions for the actual preparation of your Wills. This can either be in our office or, at no additional cost to you, in the comfort of your own home or office - which most clients, understandably, prefer. Home visits can be in the evenings as well as during office hours.

Having taken your instructions at the first appointment, the documents are then prepared by us and a second appointment is normally made for us to supervise the attestation (signing and witnessing) of the documents. There is no additional fee for this service or for the preparation of the documents. We only charge one fee, as quoted to you during your initial telephone enquiry, prior to you making the commitment of an appointment for us to take your instructions for the preparation of your will/s or other legal documents. The fee due is not paid by you until the second appointment when the will/s are signed and witnessed. The fee quoted covers the majority of Wills: extra cost on Wills only arises if there are genuine complications such as Property, Discretionary or Lifetime Trusts to be included but which were not apparent during the initial telephone discussion, but these are always at your discretion, and you do not have to pay more than the basic fee quoted if there are no complications.
